GEYSER PASS AMENITIES:
Please keep in mind that we are providing a rustic backcountry experience! The Geyser Pass Yurt is stocked with the following items for your comfort and enjoyment:
- Beds: 2 bunk beds sleep 1 on top and 2 on bottom; each bed is furnished with 5” thick camp mattress. One full-sized futon sleeps 2. NO BEDDING IS SUPPLIED
- Dining table and chairs for 8
- Propane kitchen lights
- 4 LED lanterns
- Fully equipped kitchen – Pots & pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, French press and drip cone coffee makers, tea kettle, plates, bowls, glasses, silverware. Please ask if you have specific concerns.
- 3-burner propane Camp Chef cook stove with propane and backup bomb
- Food Storage Tote (all food MUST be kept in totes or coolers to deter critters! Coolers with ice can be rented if requested in advance)
- June-October: Water for drinking/cooking/cleaning – We will provide 2 gallons of water per person per night booked. Please be sure to accurately state the number of occupants you are booking for so we can provide enough water for all.
- November-May: Large pots for collecting and melting snow for all drinking/cooking/cleaning & purifying tablets
- Wood-burning stove with wood, firestarter and matches
- 2 Fire Extinguishers, carbon monoxide detector & extra batteries
- Splitting maul & hatchet
- Snow Shovels
- Outhouse: Equipped with River Bank toilet system and toilet paper
- Library of books, regional maps and games
- Brooms, trash bags and cleaning supplies to tidy up at the end of your stay
- Basic small first aid kit
- June-October: Carts to haul your gear from the parking area to the yurt
