DOG POLICY

$50 plus tax per dog (two dog maximum)

We are a dog friendly operation and as dog owners ourselves we know the wear and tear caused by our furry friends. This is why we enforce a strict two dog maximum and charge a nonrefundable pet fee. Please help to protect this privilege for future guests by following these guidelines.

    1. Keep dogs under control at all times as hikers bikers and skiers frequent these areas.  All yurts are located on open range, please do not allow dogs to chase cattle or any wildlife.
    2. Dogs must NOT be left unattended in the yurt.
    3. Please provide your own dog water and food bowls.
    4. Please clean up after your dog, ESPECIALLY in the winter as snowmelt is used for drinking water.
    5. Clean snow and mud from dogs before allowing them in the yurt.
    6. Please Take extra care in cleaning and sweeping the yurt.

Talking Mountain Yurts reserves the right to revoke this privilege at any time.  If your dog causes severe damage Talking Mountain Yurts reserves the right to charge your card on file for reasonable repair or replacement.

Cancellations made greater than 30 days prior to the reservation date will be refunded 50% of the original payment.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING TRIP INSURANCE

Please note that during the winter months, in cases of recent heavy snowfall the roads may not be plowed in time for your visit. Be prepared, as you may have to park at the turnoff to the Geyser Pass Road. This will increase your skin-in by up to 4.5 miles and 1600 feet of elevation gain. It is your responsibility to watch the weather and be prepared to start early, allowing plenty of time for your arrival during the short winter months.

No refunds will be given for early departures, bad weather or poor snow conditions, getting lost or failure to reach the yurt, or any other circumstances for which Talking Mountain Yurts LLC has no control.

If, in extreme circumstances, the yurt is inaccessible and we are unable to assist in getting your party to the yurt, we will be happy to reschedule your visit within one year of your reservation date.Talking Mountain Yurts reserves the right to make the final call.
